Topic Summaries
Part 1. Creating a Culture of Personal Accountability Wednesday 12th February 2025 @ 10:00am AEDT
In this session, we look at how to create a culture of accountability. A culture of accountability is a service in which Educators quickly acknowledge their mistakes and focus on correcting the situation. They learn from their experiences rather than allocating blame. They keep their word and honour their promises. They push through challenges and find a way to get the job done.
Part 2. Attitudes – The good, the bad and the ugly Friday 14th February 2025 @ 10:00am AEDT
Attitudes are more important than education, qualifications or skills. People might say the right things, but you can feel their attitude. Some attitudes are going to promote team cohesiveness, and others are going to destroy it. This section explores how bad attitudes can ruin your team and the 7 steps to turning them around.
Part 3. Creating the “Between the Flags” System Wednesday 26th February 2025 @ 10:00am AEDT
Great leaders can clearly describe what “best practice” looks like. In this session, you’ll learn the “Between the Flags” system and how you can implement it in your service. The “Between the Flags” system is designed to save you time and help you promote positive individual attitudes to improve team performance.
Part 4. Holding Educators Accountable and Coaching For Attitude Friday 28th February 2025 @ 10:00am AEDT
Some Educators find it hard to take accountability. They use denial, blame and excuses to derail the team and undermine success. Some Educators can get stuck in a victim mentality which means tough issues remain unresolved. In this session, we’ll look at psychological strategies to hold Educators accountable; you’ll master the art of coaching for positive attitudes.
