This workshop will provide you with the tools to create high performing teams. This workshop is specifically designed for Nominated Supervisors, Authorised Supervisors, Room Leaders, Assistants and Managers.
Making the transition from Educator to Leader can be one of the most challenging and rewarding journeys to take. In this workshop, we’ll explore strategies and tools for you to become a successful and confident leader. You’ll hear funny stories about those who have tried and failed and inspirational tales about those who have taken on the challenge and won!
After this workshop, once difficult conversations will seem like a breeze, and you’ll be able to de-escalate conflict by building positive, respectful relationships with your team. As you begin to practice the skills you’ll become a credible, confident leader who’s respected and admired
Leadership – Master the art of effective leadership and discover your personal leadership style.
Motivation -Discover the psychological tricks behind motivating your team and learn how to keep them engaged.
Feedback – Uncover the tools to give effective feedback and learn how to have difficult conversations.
Delegation – Save time by learning how to delegate and give instructions effectively.
Assertiveness – Learn simple assertiveness strategies and stand up to aggressive behaviour.
Conflict – Sometimes Educators clash, learn how to prevent and resolve conflict in your team.
Plus this year we've included a brand new topic - "How to give Educators feedback without being hated!"
Face to Face with Zoom
Just like a face-to-face workshop, this workshop will run as a face-to-face virtual class. You don't need any special software, just click the link at the start time and you'll be connected. Participants will need a webcam and microphone. The participant numbers are caped to ensure questions can be answered and discussions facilitated. You can log in from anywhere, work or home. The 3 hour workshop will have plenty of short breaks to allow participants to refresh and stretch. Just like a face-to-face class only better!
